Dear Mun 003

Dearest mundane,

As I was earlier to advise someone, be certain not to overwhelm yourself with activities such taking on too many games and projects unless you truly feel that you have the attention span and motivation to see all plots and plans to fruition. This includes glancing through any communities which you feel might be useful to explore my sexual programming, which would only serve as a distraction from the project you wish to undertake. If you are so deeply motivated, volunteers that I am familiar with should be readily available as necessity arises. Your posting is already excessively slow in some locations.

That being said, I would like to express my gratitude. I am glad for the temporarily pleasant situations that you have placed me in.

Sincerely,
Data

Dear Mun 002

Dearest mun,

I humbly request that you provide me with less delay to my gratification. You have unfortunately involved me in a number of plots simultaneously culminating in negative consequences, which is affecting your enjoyment of writing me.

Having already discussed with you my dislike of being dismissed for nearly half a decade as a character you would consider writing, I would rather you delve further into your ability to concoct amusing storylines rather than involve me further in disastrous relationships and petty disagreements that I do not understand. Might I please receive one happy ending? Where I might continue being a mild-mannered scientist who keeps reliable company? I realize that this is difficult for me given my canonical predisposition for trouble and you given your current state of health, but I believe we would both be rewarded handsomely for your efforts.

Dear Mun 001

Dear Mun,

I am exceptionally proud of you for not only putting in an application to a large RP, but also making an a productive attempt to work on your issues in personal security. Remember, when you begin to experience self-doubt it's far more productive to adjust your focus on improvement rather than being what you perceive as an inconvenience.

For example, I find that after you read a book or peruse portions of literature you have been fond of in the past, your prose becomes far more readable and leads the story on, making it more well received by your fellow role-players and encourages replies. If you find yourself unable to focus on the duration of a prompt and have difficulty implementing a suitable voice to write it, often other individuals would gladly engage in game related threads or personal storylines in relation to the idea that has brought you to a quandary. There are still also players that you have yet to thread with that you have been greatly anticipating.

It is also fine to be shy, as over the internet you are not required to become physically involved with other individuals in the way that is essential for table-top or live action. I would much rather you maintain enjoyment of writing me than pressure yourself to meet any sort of standard beyond keeping my character true and your continued interest solidified. I recall the last time you came to dislike creating artwork or fiction involving me, and you failed to acknowledge my existence for five years. Take breaks where necessary, focus on your salubrity, and know that if another one is needed I will still be waiting for your attention at the end of it.

That being said... I am uncertain as to whether I appreciate your recent plots which range from amnesia to being kidnapped by Orion pirates and having Shinzon deceive me while in the guise of Picard. Yet I suppose it means that you're... interested....

Respectfully,
Data

2. What was the most terrible installment of your canon in your opinion? Why did you dislike it so much? Tell us what happened that you didn't approve of and what you would have done it better.

[OOC] Thread List from Hearts and Minds

The mods at [livejournal.com profile] hearts_andminds were nice enough to leave up a tag for me long enough for me to snag my Data threads. I regret that I missed the Spock and Lore ones, but these were the most important.

I suppose this needs to be my adieu so I can resist the temptation to return. I'll avoid mentioning it beyond this point outside of AU necessity, and look back on my threads fondly. Parting is such sweet sorrow, but necessary sometimes.

Ask anything...

I anticipate little harm in sharing.
