Spot the cat. I see. Keeping domestic animals is outlawed on Earth and many other Federation worlds, but there are feral ones to be found on the service levels. I have respect for cats, however - graceful, independent, intelligent animals. A law unto themselves. A cat might make a good mascot for the rebellion. Where did you find Spot? At the animal shelter? I noticed it the other day. Interesting idea.
That is unfortunate. I have found owning a pet very fulfilling and educational. I have had her for a number of years. I do not know if this is the same exact Spot, but her marking are identical and I discovered her in my room when I received my key. Your description... is appropriate.

Its been called to my attention that the nature of your relationship with Avon is more than roommate-comrade material. If this is the case of course its none of my business; however my source of information has a tendency to skew facts. I just want to be sure I'm not being had.
