Spot the cat. I see. Keeping domestic animals is outlawed on Earth and many other Federation worlds, but there are feral ones to be found on the service levels. I have respect for cats, however - graceful, independent, intelligent animals. A law unto themselves. A cat might make a good mascot for the rebellion. Where did you find Spot? At the animal shelter? I noticed it the other day. Interesting idea.
That is unfortunate. I have found owning a pet very fulfilling and educational. I have had her for a number of years. I do not know if this is the same exact Spot, but her marking are identical and I discovered her in my room when I received my key. Your description... is appropriate.
Well now, that is interesting. Your cat appears to have materialised in the same manner as Orac did. It never occurred to me that the computer might be a facsimile.

I am sorry. Spot was demanding food and I almost did not make it to the phone. I received minor damage that has all been repaired.
